The Partnership for Biotechnology Research raises funds for the advancement of biotechnology education. This funding is used to support undergraduate and graduate internships and scholarships and career development workshops at local educational institutions.

Highlights of Scholarship Guildines:
- Applicants must be enrolled in a college or university in the greater Huntsville area (Alabama A&M, Athens State University, Calhoun Community College, Drake State Community College, Oakwoood University or UAHuntsville).
- Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA (incoming freshman must have a high school GPA of 3.0 or greater).
- Applicants must be in a biotechnology-related degree program (biology, chemistry, engineering, etc.).
