The UAHuntsville all-campus memorial service to honor the lives of Dr. Maria Davis, Dr. Adriel Johnson, and Dr. Gopi Podila will take place on Friday, February 19 at 7 pm in Spragins Hall on the UAHuntsville campus. All members of the UAHuntsville community and friends are invited.
The following funeral arrangements are scheduled:
Dr. Gopi Podila: the visitation will be held at the Berryhill Funeral Home, 2305 Memorial Parkway NW, Huntsville 35810 on Thursday, February 18 from 10 am to noon. A private ceremony for family and close friends will immediately follow the visitation. Berryhill phone: 256-536-9197.
Dr. Adriel Johnson: the visitation will be held at the Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 315 Winchester Road, Huntsville 35811 on Thursday, February 18 from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19 at 11 am at the same location. Church phone: 256-852-1150.
Dr. Maria Davis: the visitation will be held at the Progressive Union Missionary Church, 1919 Brandon Town Road NW, Huntsville, 35816 on Saturday, February 20 at 11 am. The funeral service will follow immediately at 12 noon at the same location. Church phone: 256-539-1070.
